Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational project plan for our major corporate events, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a project plan and timeline, ensuring the event runs to schedule and deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the complete project management of the event, including coordinating with suppliers, engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating with the operations team to execute large-scale conferences and exhibitions.
  • Oversee budgets while closely monitoring and controlling operational expenses to ensure events remain within financial limits.
  • Participate in regular client meetings and reports, gaining a clear understanding of the client's objectives and ensuring event execution aligns with their goals.
  • Consistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and sustainability principles, while actively striving to enhance the sustainability performance of live events.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Risk Assessment, and other relevant information for the event is delivered in a timely and correct process.
  • Sourcing appropriate suppliers for each event and securing the best products and services available at the best price.
  • Maintain a working project file for your events on our shared drive.
  • Provide administrative support across all projects.
  • Onsite/in-person event management and support.
Requirements
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and adhere to budgets.
  • Experience involved in large event projects for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Outstanding planning and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, combined with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • IT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to use design software tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a creative eye.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
  • A quick learner, from a fast-paced events background, capable of adapting and excelling in new teams.
  • Deeply passionate about the creation, planning, and delivery of events, shows, and installations to the highest standards.
