Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure)

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Yorkshire, North West and North East infrastructure teams. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering project management services to our clients, working on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, both nationally and locally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects and/or work independently to manage and deliver capital investment projects.
  • Provide client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage project finances and ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Ensure that all team members have current and relevant training.
  • Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or a relevant subject.
  • Professionally qualified, ideally Chartered Project Manager Status with the APM, RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
  • Experience in the built environment as client-side Project Manager, preferably in Energy, Aviation, Water, Rail and/or NEC Project management.
  • Practitioner of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contract management with NEC-accreditation highly desirable.
