Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our automated machinery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide control system solutions for our machines
  2. Designing, developing, and testing control system software, including machine start-up and debug
  3. Integrating and validating new product designs
  4. Supporting software QA and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  5. Interfacing with hardware design and development teams
  6. Developing technical and electrical control systems requirements
  7. Developing machine sequence and control flow charts
  8. Developing Human Machine Interface programs for machine control
  9. Developing design documentation, including theory of operation, help files, and technical specifications
  10. Providing technical support to Service Technicians and customers, as needed
Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer who is proficient in programming languages, including Ladder Logic and ST/SCL. You should also have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  1. Proficient use of programming languages, including Ladder Logic and ST/SCL
  2. Integration of safety control systems and methods using Siemens and Allen Bradley technologies
  3. Creation, reading, and editing of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control station layouts, and electrical enclosure panel layouts
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  5. Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  6. Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  7. Attention to detail and results-driven approach
