ABOUT THE POSITION

In the capacity of a Senior Data Scientist, your primary responsibility will be to utilize data to derive meaningful insights and support data-driven strategies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the formulation and execution of the data strategy for the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with current Data Scientists to foster their professional development and enhance their skill sets.
  • Develop and validate hypotheses, offering actionable insights based on analytical findings.
  • Engage in exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and irregularities within extensive datasets.
  • Create predictive models to anticipate trends and outcomes, aiding in strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms to address specific business challenges.
  • Lead initiatives to catalog data processes and enhance data integrity.
  • Partner with internal and client teams to establish data needs for data science initiatives.
  • Proactively identify potential data collection challenges and collaborate with the broader team to address them.

ABOUT YOU

As a seasoned data scientist, you will possess substantial and verifiable experience in executing Data Science projects that drive business impact, utilizing:

  • Proficiency in Python programming, along with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, MLLib, and scikit-learn, as well as development environments like Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Expertise in statistical and machine learning methodologies, including Gradient Boost, A/B testing, clustering, and time series analysis.
  • Experience with AWS and analytical tools such as Athena and Sagemaker, alongside a background in data engineering and analytical workflows.

A degree in Science, Mathematics, Computing, or a Master's/Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields is essential.

Furthermore, you should have a track record of delivering analytics in a rapidly growing, scalable environment.
