We are looking for a skilled DevOps Operations Engineer to become a vital member of our client's global DevOps team.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports a worldwide platform, ensuring optimal performance and outstanding service for a vast user community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Platform Stability: You will be essential in upholding the high availability and efficiency of our international platforms, adeptly managing significant traffic loads.
  • Master AWS Technologies: Utilize your extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop secure and dependable services employing tools such as EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code: Create and sustain infrastructure as code using Terraform, crafting reusable modules for effective and scalable deployments.
  • Prioritize Security: Work closely with the Cybersecurity Team to continually improve the security framework of our platform.
  • Promote Continuous Delivery: Actively engage in and leverage our GitHub Pull Request-based development pipeline, nurturing a culture of ongoing value delivery for our clients.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Employ tools like Datadog and Splunk to monitor platform health, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
  • Quality Assurance Advocate: Champion high-quality coding and engineering practices that enhance the continuous delivery process.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in a sustainable on-call rotation to ensure prompt responses to any platform challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience: We seek candidates with over 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Web Operations, or Cloud Engineering.
  • AWS Expertise: You should have in-depth production experience with a variety of AWS services.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: A solid understanding of contemporary infrastructure practices is essential, along with the ability to deploy and manage secure, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure.
  • Automation Skills: You should be capable of developing well-documented, modular, secure, and testable infrastructure automation that enhances efficiency and maintainability.
  • Collaborative Mindset: You thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess a strong desire to expand your technical knowledge.
  • Effective Communicator: You excel in both written and verbal communication.
