Your Role

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform/Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing cloud infrastructure tooling, working closely with our engineering teams to adopt these tools, and contributing to our goal of 'everything as code' and GitOps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based applications.
  • Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code initiatives.
  • Work with our engineering teams to adopt cloud infrastructure tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, including containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
