Position Overview
Job Title: Senior Project Scheduler
Location: Bristol, UK
This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a balance between office and remote work, with an expectation of being on-site 60% of the time.
About the Role
The Senior Project Scheduler will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing project scheduling processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining the Microsoft Project server, including enterprise resources and custom fields.
- Developing and refining scheduling processes to improve efficiency.
- Providing scheduling support across various projects as needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management functions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar scheduling role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Project.
- Experience in administering MS Project Server, including resource pools and permissions.
- Ability to create and manage dependencies between master and sub-project schedules.
- A solid understanding of planning and scheduling methodologies for engineering projects.
- Familiarity with project costing systems and risk management practices.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management techniques.
- Experience with PowerBI and data analysis methodologies.
- Previous experience in a line management role is preferred.
