Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance and Compliance expert to lead on compliance activities in conjunction with the hospital's senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of governance and compliance strategies to ensure the hospital meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and coordinate investigations of adverse events and near misses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on governance and compliance matters.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in governance and compliance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management principles and practices.
