About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding housing management position that requires a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. As a Neighbourhood Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering housing services to our tenants at our schemes in Norwich, Thetford, and Hoveton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Letting properties and carrying out scheme inspections, including key health and safety checks
  • Helping tenants to keep up to date with their rent and liaising with social services and occupational health services to ensure tenants can successfully maintain their tenancy and live independently
  • Dealing with tenancy issues, including managing reports of anti-social behaviour
  • Working closely with tenant representatives and tenant groups to promote tenant engagement and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of housing management in the social housing sector
  • Commitment to Habinteg's inclusive housing mission
  • Computer literacy and sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and agility in approach, with ability to adapt to different circumstances and service demands
