Stakeholder Engagement Officer

We are seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our team at TurnerFox Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to identify key stakeholders, their interests, concerns, and influence on projects.
  • Communication Planning: Develop and maintain stakeholder maps, assessing their interests and concerns, and create clear communication plans to disseminate project updates and milestones.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement: Organize community events, public consultations, and information sessions to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Issue Identification: Proactively identify potential issues and concerns raised by stakeholders and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and internal project teams to ensure alignment with community needs and expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of stakeholder engagement activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, preferably within the context of infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of community dynamics, public relations, and environmental regulations.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
