About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at V&A Dundee. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting with the production of all food for daily service, supporting menu preparation, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for daily service
  • Support the production and delivery of new product concepts for Retail and Events
  • Contribute to the planning and operational functions of the V&A kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in team activities and discussions to drive business growth and excellence
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including HACCP and COSHH responsibilities
  • Maintain a focus on food allergens and customer information
  • Report any incidents or accidents, and take appropriate action
Requirements
  • Experience in a cafe and restaurant environment, with knowledge of current allergen legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Professional, motivated, driven, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to work
