About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic chef to join our culinary team at V&A Dundee. As a key member of our team, you will assist with the production of all food for daily service, supporting menu preparation and delivery of our in-house events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality food service at all times
  • Support production and delivery of new product concepts for Retail and Events
  • Contribute to team activities and discussions
  • Visit and work at other sites as required
  • Maintain a focus on food allergens and customer information
  • Ensure all key operational paperwork and processes are followed
Requirements
  • Experience of all sections of the kitchen in a cafe and restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of local food trends and history
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook

Heritage Portfolio is a sub-segment of Sodexo Live that produces outstanding catering and event services for cultural destinations. Our mantra is 'building a business to be proud of' and we are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our team.

We offer a contracted role with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours worked paid at the same rate of £13.25-£13.50 per hour. Hours of work will predominately be 0800 - 1600, with some requirement to support events business in evenings as required.
