**About the Role**
Beauty Bay is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Buyer to join our fast-paced Buying Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing and sourcing third-party brands, working closely with suppliers to create exclusive products and bundles, and managing sample and critical path management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Grow and Source Third-Party Brands**: Identify and develop new product lines and promotions with suppliers, ensuring alignment with Beauty Bay's brand strategy.
- **Supplier Partnerships**: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to drive business growth, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- **Sample and Critical Path Management**: Oversee the management of samples, ensuring quality control and timely delivery, and coordinate critical path activities to meet business objectives.
- **New Launch Coordination**: Collaborate with the Buying and Trade Teams to coordinate new product launches, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
- **Data Management**: Maintain accurate product databases and systems, including price changes and data updates, to support business decision-making.
- **Market Research**: Conduct market research and comparative shopping reports to stay up-to-date on market trends and brands, informing business strategies and product development.
- **Business Newness Updates**: Lead business newness updates for the Buying Department and Third-Party Brands, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
- **Internal Communications**: Coordinate internal communications and presentations for brand funding and campaigns, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
- **Reporting and Analytics**: Ensure accurate reporting of promo rebates to relevant brands, providing valuable insights for business growth.
**Requirements:**
- **Minimum 2 Years' Experience**: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Buying role, preferably as a Buying Assistant or Buyers Admin Assistant.
- **Time Management and Prioritization**: Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- **Commercial Awareness**: Commercial awareness and ability to react to market trends, ensuring business growth and competitiveness.
- **Analytical and Numerical Skills**: Strong analytical and numerical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
- **Microsoft Office Proficiency**: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) to support business operations and communication.
- **Administration and Attention to Detail**: Strong administration skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
- **Brand Passion and Communication**: Passion for the Beauty Bay brand and product, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
