About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst to join our team at Homes for Students, a leading provider of student accommodation in the UK. As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data strategy by generating actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Create custom reports on an ad-hoc basis, presenting complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Ensure data requests are effectively prioritized and actioned within agreed service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet business needs and investigate queries related to data and reporting.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement, development, and streamlining of reporting processes.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, and the use of analytics and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advanced understanding of MS Excel, including Power Query, VBA, and Macros.
  • Experience in building powerful dashboards using Business Intelligence software.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
