Job Description:
We are in search of a skilled Aerodynamics Engineer (Thermal) to become part of our team at the cutting-edge Silverstone Facility. In this position, you will work alongside a dedicated group of engineers to improve the aerodynamic thermal systems of our racing vehicles through creative design and analytical techniques. Our team at Andretti Global is committed to excellence in every aspect, nurturing a culture of innovation and collective achievement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design cooling solutions tailored to the aerothermal needs of powertrains, braking systems, and electronic components.
  • Evaluate CFD and wind tunnel data to enhance the aerodynamic efficiency of the race car.
  • Deepen the understanding of aerodynamic structures surrounding the vehicle.
  • Work with management to formulate an aerodynamic thermal development strategy.
  • Suggest and implement novel processes to optimize aerodynamic design and testing.
  • Share insights and feedback to elevate performance as part of a collaborative team effort.

Requirements:

  • Experience in aerothermal management within the motorsport sector.
  • Familiarity with numerical techniques and fluid dynamics.
  • Proficient in CFD thermal methodologies and 3D CAD software.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Competent in MS Office and IT applications.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on inclusivity.
