Aerodynamicist Role

Aston Martin Formula One Team is seeking a skilled Aerodynamicist to join our team. As a key member of our aerodynamics department, you will play a crucial role in improving the aerodynamic performance of our current and future race cars.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement aerodynamic solutions
  • Analyse and interpret data from wind tunnel and computational fluid dynamics tests
  • Design and develop new aerodynamic components using computer-aided design tools
  • Work closely with our design teams to ensure aerodynamic intent is realised
  • Contribute to the development of our aerodynamic development methodology and processes
Requirements:
  • Excellent engineering degree with a specialisation in aerodynamics or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics and ability to apply knowledge
  • Prior experience in high-level aerodynamics, preferably in Formula 1
  • Strong work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail and high standard of quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
