Permanent Opportunity for Experienced B1 Engineers

We are seeking skilled and motivated B1 Engineers to join our team at a well-respected MRO in South Wales. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities, and meeting Part 145 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians and mechanics in base maintenance checks
  • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and forms
  • Communicate with the bay manager and production planners on maintenance requirements and issues
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance documentation
  • Allocate correct timings for tasks and ensure accurate bookings
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience, with 3 years in base maintenance
  • Ability to use recognized aircraft documentation
  • Demonstrated broad skillset in aircraft systems, including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment
  • Good structural assessment and repair knowledge
  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems
  • B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence: UK CAA AML or EASA AML issued

We offer a seasonal shift pattern with Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 18:15 and Friday 07:00 - 14:30. Attendance hours from 1 September to 31 May, with refresher training in August.
