Exciting Opportunity for a B1 Engineer
We are seeking an experienced B1 Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group in Cardiff. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and mechanics in all aspects of base maintenance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and mechanics in base maintenance checks.
- Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and forms as required by company procedures.
- Communicate with the Bay Manager and Production Planners regarding maintenance requirements and potential issues.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance documentation, including personnel allocated to assist in the task.
- Allocate correct timings to tasks and ensure accurate bookings on task cards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience, with 3 years' experience in base maintenance.
- Ability to use recognized aircraft documentation.
- Demonstrated broad skillset in aircraft systems, including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment.
- Good structural assessment and repair knowledge.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems.
- UK CAA AML or EASA AML issued B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
