About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Design Manager to join our Construction team, working on a significant project at HMP Channing's Wood Prison.

Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful management and delivery of design solutions throughout all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support in the development and implementation of design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices, appointments, and progress schedules.
  • Contribute to effective upline reporting, meeting facilitation, and workshop coordination.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of design production, including technical evaluation during the tender phase and management of the design programme.
  • Assist in the creation of Scope of Works and works packages, ensuring meticulous review of design documentation for contract compliance.
