About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Adecco. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership, advice, and support to managers and employees on health and safety matters.
  • Conduct pre-placement assessments and exit medicals to ensure employees are fit for work.
  • Assess employees presenting with health issues and initiate management of cases.
  • Write letters to GPs and specialists in line with data protection guidelines.
  • Advise on fitness to work and make recommendations for adjustments.
  • Provide support to employees through difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Monitor and review occupational health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Develop and implement health promotion initiatives in partnership with HR.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of occupational health equipment and resources.
Requirements
  • NMC registered Nurse with appropriate OH qualification.
  • Degree or postgraduate diploma in Occupational Health.
  • Previous experience as a registered qualified OH nurse.
  • Good knowledge of health surveillance and safety critical medicals.
  • Sound knowledge of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
