Maintenance Operator
Bolton

12 Month Contract

The Opportunity

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi-Skilled Electrical Operator with calibration experience. This role involves working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.
Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out calibration of Electrical COTS Equipment using METCAL.
  • Maintain calibration test records and update databases.
  • Provide assistance to skilled operators during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment.
  • Carry out Electrical Safety Checks.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with Department procedures.
  • Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.
Role Requirements (Skills, Training and Qualifications)
Proven experience in planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.

  • BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a calibration and maintenance environment.
  • Manual handling training.
