Job Title: Shift Leader

Are you a motivated and experienced leader looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Shift Leader to join our team at Sunrise Childrens Centre, providing overnight short breaks for children with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a shift team, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Assist with and carry out personal care, ensuring the well-being and dignity of all individuals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all children and young people have the opportunity to gain new positive experiences and social experiences that are inclusive for all.
  • Communicate effectively with transparency, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and involved.
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Home (England) Regulations 2015 and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Completed Diploma level 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Excellent time management and non-bias approach when on shift.
  • Willingness to undertake training in medication management and keep competencies up to date.
  • Ability to work a 4-week rolling rota shift pattern, including two weekends per month and sleep-in duties.

Interview Process:

Candidates will be required to attend a two-day Choosing with Care assessment process, which will take place over two days.
