Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a shift team to ensure the delivery of safe and nurturing care to children and young people
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve the service
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and children
  • Knowledge of the Children's Home (England) Regulations 2015 and ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-in duties
  • Willingness to undertake training in medication management and other areas as required
