About the Role

Aston Students' Union is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Student Experience Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a vibrant and inclusive student community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of student engagement strategies to foster a sense of community and belonging among students.
  • Coordinate the induction and ongoing training for student society committee members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Monitor and analyze membership data to identify opportunities for development and growth.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to raise awareness of student societies and events.
  • Provide face-to-face support to student leaders and volunteers through the SU helpdesk, ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance they need.
Requirements
  • Experience working with diverse communities and a proven track record of fostering community spirit.
  • Strong IT skills, with a flair for creating engaging content for web and social media platforms.
  • Interest in marketing, promotion, and commercial awareness, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional events outside standard working hours.
