Job Title: Portfolio Operations Manager

Join the British Business Bank team as a Portfolio Operations Manager and play a key role in the administration of the Future Fund portfolio of equity investments.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders, including investment and central teams, to deliver the portfolio administration process and provide operational support. As a Portfolio Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading workstreams as part of the project to insource operational processes, managing portfolio data through the Salesforce system, and engaging with Portfolio Companies to manage the quarterly MI ingestion and validation process of performance information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workstreams to insource operational processes and manage portfolio data through the Salesforce system
  • Engage with Portfolio Companies to manage the quarterly MI ingestion and validation process of performance information
  • Provide operational support to the Product team in line with policies, external statutory guidance, and industry best practice
  • Design and implement systems and processes to improve portfolio administration efficiency
  • Write policy, process, and control documentation to ensure compliance and best practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and judgement skills
  • Experience of reporting to a variety of stakeholders and interpreting and applying accounting, regulatory, or other technical requirements
  • Experience of designing systems and processes and writing policy, process, and control documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
