Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at NHBC. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our training and education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal verification of qualifications assessment and quality of education delivery
  • Investigate, analyze, and provide feedback on quality issues
  • Develop and deliver effective staff training and development related to quality and compliance
  • Maintain training and quality improvement plans, implementing findings and monitoring long-term suitability
  • Ensure NHBC's accreditations, including ESFA, OFSTED, CITB, NVQ Awarding Organisations, and other bodies as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Proven experience conducting internal verification of qualifications assessment or quality of education delivery
  • Extensive experience in assessment delivery and/or training delivery within construction
  • Extensive technical knowledge of house building and the governing legislative framework it works within
  • Experience working for a commercial Independent Training Provider, working with external educational organisations and regulators
  • Fully conversant with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and video conferencing with Teams, Zoom, Visio, and Windows operating systems
  • Relevant Internal Verification qualification/certification such as D34, V1, TAQA (practical application) Level 4 award in Quality Assurance
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Relevant construction industry qualification at level 6 (e.g. Construction Management Degree, NVQ Site Management or Senior Site Inspection)
  • Relevant teaching/training qualification at level 5 or above (DTLLS/DTE or equivalent, Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Qualified Teacher Status
