Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our Transportation Division at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Planner, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our business by providing comprehensive project controls to our project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Provide expert-level project controls, including Earned Value Management, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Develop and maintain project performance metrics, including schedule, cost, and quality performance indicators.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficient in project management software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and other project controls techniques.
