Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a qualified PIP 2 Investigator for a significant role within the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Oversee and advance the investigation of criminal activities and related inquiries, collaborating effectively within a diverse team of law enforcement personnel and support staff.

- Execute investigative tasks, compile case documentation ensuring thoroughness and compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies, while maintaining the trust of victims and witnesses to achieve favorable outcomes.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A solid educational background, including English and Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of PIP 1 accreditation or relevant experience in an investigative capacity within the criminal justice framework. Candidates must achieve a National Investigators Exam (NIE) pass within specified attempts to retain the position. Completion of the full Investigators Development Programme (IDP) within three years post-NIE is mandatory for PIP 2 accreditation.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of adjusting interaction styles to suit various situations and audiences. Proficient listening and questioning skills, with a talent for engaging effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, logical thinking capabilities, and proficiency in gathering, documenting, and presenting information regarding complex scenarios in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate information and assess risks in complex situations to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
  • Proficient IT skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new systems for data extraction, analysis, and investigation tracking.
  • Willingness to travel across various locations as required, with a full UK driving license considered essential due to the nature of the role.
