Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a PIP 2 Investigator for a remarkable opportunity within the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PIP 2 INVESTIGATOR


Oversee and advance the investigation of criminal activities and various inquiries, collaborating as a vital member of a diverse team comprising Police Officers and Support Staff.

Execute investigative tasks, compile case documentation ensuring thoroughness and submission in line with legal deadlines, regulations, and organizational policies while maintaining the confidence of victims and witnesses to ensure favorable outcomes.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A solid educational background, including English and Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong numeracy abilities.
  • Must possess PIP 1 accreditation or relevant experience in an investigative capacity within the criminal justice framework. Candidates must achieve a National Investigators Exam (NIE) pass within two attempts, or within a year of joining, to maintain their position. Completion of the full Investigators Development Programme (IDP) and associated portfolio within three years of passing the NIE is essential for obtaining PIP 2 accreditation, which is mandatory for this role. Comprehensive support, including study materials and training courses, will be provided to assist candidates in meeting these requirements.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the capability to adjust communication styles to fit various situations and audiences. Strong listening and questioning abilities, along with a capacity to engage effectively, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, logical thinking skills, and the ability to gather, document, and present information regarding complex situations effectively, even under pressure, adhering to established procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information and evaluate risks in relation to intricate and serious matters to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience working within a collaborative environment, showcasing organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficient IT skills with the ability to learn and utilize new systems effectively to extract and analyze data, as well as manage and document investigations.
  • Must possess the ability to travel to various locations as required and complete assignments promptly. Due to the need for flexible working hours and personal safety during lone working, a full UK driving license is considered essential.
