Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team at Tutors and Exams Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that cover all aspects of exam administration, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Program Development:
    • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for examination staff, including invigilators, centre managers & exams staff.
    • Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support the delivery of effective training sessions.
    • Ensure training programs cover all aspects of exam administration, compliance, customer service, and specific requirements for AA & NEA areas.
  2. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for new and existing staff, ensuring they are proficient in examination procedures and standards.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff to address any training needs and enhance their performance.
    • Serve as the company lead point of contact for all training & development.
  3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all training programs align with industry regulations, awarding body requirements, and company policies.
    • Regularly review and update training materials to reflect changes in regulations, best practices, and company procedures.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed.
  4. Staff Development:
    • Identify training and development needs through assessments, performance reviews, and feedback.
    • Support the professional growth of staff by offering development opportunities and career progression advice.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  5. Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessments.
    • Prepare reports on training outcomes and staff performance.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure training programs meet operational needs and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a training and development role, preferably within the examination or education sector.
  • Strong understanding of examination procedures, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
