We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mail Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our driving team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a company vehicle to collect and deliver mail and packages to customers
- Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle
- Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery
- Interact with customers to resolve any issues or concerns
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines
- A full UK manual driving licence with less than 6 penalty points
- A valid Periodic Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualification (CPC) and Drivers Qualification Card (DQC)
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
- A competitive starting salary of £602.60 per week, plus overtime and shift allowance
