Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Dorset HealthCare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist care and support to children and young people in need.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver specialist programmes of care, providing highly specialist advice and guidance to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver specialist programmes of care for children and young people, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide highly specialist advice and guidance to individuals and groups, drawing on your extensive experience and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care and support for our service users.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our service's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and meet the needs of our service users.

Requirements

  • Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level, supplemented by post-registration diploma level specialist training and/or short courses.
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
  • Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level, with a proven track record of delivering specialist care and support to children and young people.
  • Experience of developing and delivering training, with a focus on improving the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
