Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group as a Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. As a Trainee, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing specialist programmes of care for individuals or groups of patients/clients and providing highly specialist advice.
  • Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Devising and delivering training to staff.
  • Using electronic patient/service user record systems and analysing data to produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a practitioner to degree/diploma level supplemented by post-registration diploma level specialist training and/or short courses or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty.
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
  • Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level.
  • Experience of specialist working.
  • Experience of developing specialist programmes of care for individuals or groups of patients/clients and of providing highly specialist advice.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Experience of devising and delivering training.
  • Experience of using electronic patient/service user record systems.
  • Able to analyse data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
