Eden Brown is a well-established and innovative firm of mechanical and electrical consulting engineers, with a legacy dating back to 1980.

Recognized for their proficiency across a variety of construction domains, including railway and underground projects, educational facilities, commercial spaces, and civic architecture, they are currently enhancing their talented team.


The ideal candidate for the role of Lead Electrical Systems Engineer will possess a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

With a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience, applicants should have a broad project portfolio, showcasing skills in refurbishment, education, rail/transport, leisure, commercial office, and heritage sectors.


The successful applicant will exhibit the capability to prepare calculations utilizing Hevacomp, Dialux (or equivalent), and independently generate electrical designs.

Proficiency in conducting surveys, drafting reports/specifications, and experience in a client-facing capacity is essential.

Strong communication skills with both internal and external team members, effective time-management abilities for managing multiple simultaneous projects, and the capacity to supervise and mentor junior personnel and CAD teams are critical.

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting surveys and condition assessments.
- Developing comprehensive electrical designs and tender documentation.
- Participating in design, client, and site meetings.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior staff and CAD team members.
- Acting as Contract Administrator on mechanical lead projects.
- Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team on various projects.
