Your responsibilities will include:
  • Enhancing operational efficiency by overseeing routine maintenance and shutdown activities across all equipment
  • Delivering hands-on electrical and technical assistance to production teams and other departments
  • Conducting PLC fault diagnosis, programming, and repairs on machinery in industrial settings
  • Providing comprehensive electrical maintenance services and support for various equipment, including conveyors and packaging machines
  • Coordinating workflow between shifts and planning electrical tasks to ensure seamless operations
  • Supervising on-site technicians and ensuring effective completion of planned preventative maintenance
  • Strategically planning and scheduling maintenance activities to optimize uptime and minimize disruptions
  • Executing both planned and emergency maintenance on a diverse range of equipment
  • Overseeing contractor management on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • Experience in PLC fault diagnosis and programming
  • A strong background in material handling equipment maintenance
  • Familiarity with various machinery including balers, pumps, and low-voltage systems
  • Practical experience in maintenance within a process industry, ideally in recycling
  • A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with low voltage power systems and control software
  • Knowledge of CMMS/AMMS systems is a plus
