We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instructor to join our team at Barking & Dagenham College. As an Electrical Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the Electrical industry.

• Lesson Planning and Delivery

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to our students, ensuring that they meet the required standards and outcomes.

You will develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, providing constructive and developmental feedback to our students to help them improve their skills and knowledge.

You will work closely with our students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

You will stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, ensuring that our students receive the most relevant and effective education and training.

You will participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying current with the latest trends and innovations in the Electrical industry.

• Qualifications and Experience

You will hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors, or have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course you will be delivering, and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support.

You will have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress, and achievements.
