Axion Moore, a leading business in the industry, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead their financial operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering improved accounting activities across multiple international subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team: Oversee a team of financial professionals in delivering improved accounting activities, including Bank Reconciliation, VCC, Commissions, Sales Ledger, and Purchase Ledger.
  2. Support system development: Collaborate with the Head of Transformation to identify opportunities to optimize and enhance financial systems.
  3. Execute month-end closing routines: Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing routines, providing management reporting to the Director of Finance.
  4. Bank Reconciliation: Ensure consistent and accurate bank reconciliations across all bank accounts, with a focus on scalability and growth.
  5. Sales Ledger Management: Support the management of aged debt position and cash flow, aligning with Treasury expectations.
  6. Purchase Ledger Management: Ensure the ledger is clean and payments are made in line with policy.
  7. Year-end Audit: Manage year-end audit activities, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure external regulatory deadlines are met, and compliance with all accounting standards is maintained.
  9. Team Collaboration: Work with other teams in finance and the business to resolve issues, support growth, and enable the finance team to be best-in-class.
