We are currently seeking a skilled Insurance Account Executive to join our North Yorkshire office, reflecting our ongoing success and growth in the market.

Role Summary

In the capacity of an Insurance Account Executive, you will be instrumental in overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and their respective insurance policies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients to assess their needs, offering expert guidance, and ensuring they receive optimal insurance solutions. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Key Duties:

  • Client Engagement: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their insurance needs and providing professional advice.
  • Policy Management: Oversee the comprehensive administration of personal insurance policies, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
  • Renewal Management: Actively manage policy renewals, identify opportunities for upselling, and contribute to the expansion of the client portfolio.
  • Industry Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and new product offerings to deliver informed recommendations to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including underwriters and claims professionals, to provide thorough and effective insurance solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Account Executive in Personal Lines or Commercial insurance, or a comparable role within the insurance sector.
  • In-depth understanding of personal insurance products and relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications.
