Job Title: Lead Digital Midwife

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our team as a Lead Digital Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, leading the development and implementation of digital midwifery services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through effective leadership and management. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless provision of care, and will be responsible for developing and implementing new ways of working to provide exceptional levels of care.

Main Duties:
  • Manage a team of midwives and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement new ways of working to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless provision of care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems for data collection and analysis.
Person Specification:
  • Registered Midwife with significant post-registration experience.
  • UK recognised Midwifery degree.
  • Evidence of further professional development.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
