Position Overview:

Join a premier consultancy specializing in sustainability as a Senior Managing Consultant. This role involves delivering expert consultancy services to global clients, particularly focusing on sustainable supply chain practices within the consumer goods sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and management of proposals and projects aimed at:
  • Enhancing sustainable supply chains and agricultural practices
  • Identifying and mitigating risks within corporate supply chains
  • Formulating strategies to meet climate objectives, including emission reductions, water stewardship, and achieving deforestation-free supply chains
  • Lead extensive consulting projects from inception through to execution
  • Manage and mentor teams of consultants across diverse stakeholders and geographical locations
  • Establish and nurture relationships with multinational corporate clients
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Management team to develop proposals and engage in business development initiatives
  • Contribute to the innovation of new products, solutions, marketing materials, and thought leadership to tackle sustainability challenges faced by clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing sustainability initiatives within supply chains for large consumer goods companies
  • A university degree, preferably at the Master's level or higher, in a field related to sustainability
  • Significant experience in sustainability consulting with major international corporate clients, or extensive background as a Sustainability Manager in large multinational firms
  • Strong project management capabilities, particularly in implementation, with the ability to guide teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Exceptional writing skills, with a track record of creating and reviewing high-quality proposals
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in at least one additional language relevant to the client base is highly desirable
