We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels to maintain profitability
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of modern British cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
