Job Title: Operational Control Centre Operative

Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills? We are seeking a talented Operational Control Centre Operative to join our team at Serco, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of custodies.

About the Role:

As an Operational Control Centre Operative, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling vehicles to transport custodies in a safe and secure manner. You will work closely with our crews and establishments to ensure that custodies are transported on time and in accordance with our service delivery agreements. You will also be responsible for monitoring vehicles and responding to emergency alarms raised by crews, as well as working with multiple agencies to ensure the safe and secure delivery of custodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule vehicles to transport custodies in a safe and secure manner
  • Work closely with crews and establishments to ensure timely and secure transportation of custodies
  • Monitor vehicles and respond to emergency alarms raised by crews
  • Work with multiple agencies to ensure safe and secure delivery of custodies

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills
  • Experience in logistics and scheduling, or willingness to learn and develop skills in this field
  • Computer literate with ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data/information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Security Clearance:

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 4, and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office. You will be required to obtain Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 Vetting & Enhanced DBS with Child Barring.
