Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client's site in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an efficient and effective security service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
  • Manage access to the site, completing logs where required.
  • Conduct regular site patrols, check calls, and report incidents.
  • Ensure a high standard of professionalism and security consciousness.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the premises during assigned shifts.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
  • Promote and uphold security principles in accordance with policies and directives.
  • Maintain logs of messages and visitor arrivals.
  • Adhere to the company's dress code and wear the correct uniform.
  • Fulfill health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the company's health and safety policy and management plans.
  • Comply with company policies, management plans, and procedures.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a busy security role.
  • Strong people and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A drive to succeed by working as part of a close-knit team.
  • We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • You need to be well-presented, punctual, and focused on attention to detail.
  • A criminal record check, employment history, and Right to Work check.
  • SIA license is a requirement.
