Senior Internal Auditor Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Rec Sense Recruitment. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading complex audits at client sites, ensuring high-quality results within required timescales and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Understand key risks identified by management and controls in place to address those risks within each area of the client's annual audit plan
- Manage, perform, and control internal audit assignments, including planning, programming, conduct, and reporting findings
- Draft audit planning documents for approval and review by client and management
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and working paper files within allocated audits, adding value and good practice
- Lead and supervise junior staff on individual assignments, providing technical audit guidance and training
- Perform complex and specialist audits, undertaking review work on significant findings
- Assist management in ensuring that assigned audits meet quality and timeliness standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal auditing, with a strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex audit issues
- Proficiency in audit software and tools, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
