Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Rec Sense Recruitment. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit assignments, ensuring that they are completed to a high standard and within the required timescales and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Internal Audit Assignments: You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit assignments, ensuring that they are completed to a high standard and within the required timescales and budgets.
- Develop and Implement Audit Plans: You will be responsible for developing and implementing audit plans, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's risk management framework and audit standards.
- Manage and Supervise Audit Team Members: You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of audit team members, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Communicate with Clients and Stakeholders: You will be responsible for communicating with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed of audit findings and recommendations.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that the company's risk management framework is effective and up-to-date.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring that you have the latest knowledge and skills to perform your role effectively.
Requirements:
- Relevant Professional Qualification: You will need to have a relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, or CIMA.
- Experience: You will need to have experience in internal audit, preferably in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: You will need to have strong technical skills, including knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and audit planning.
- Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
