About the Role
Page Personnel is working with a reputable business based in the UK who is looking for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their accountancy team on a 9-month contract. The role is a standalone position within a wider team, requiring the candidate to work from the office three times a week.
Client Details
The client is a business that has undergone significant growth and change over the past year. To support internal changes, they need additional help. Ideally, the candidate will have a car to access the office.
Key Responsibilities
The Part Qualified Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements
- Being the main point of contact for audit queries
- Supporting audit and board sign-off of financial statements
- Providing accounting reminders as deadlines approach
- Supporting business transactions
- Producing and submitting board packs (balance sheet, P&L, and analysis)
- Maintaining tax compliance and reporting
Requirements
To be considered for the Part Qualified Financial Accountant role, the candidate must:
- Be part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Have experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar
- Have knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Understand controls in a financial reporting context
