Financial Accountant

Page Personnel Finance is working with a reputable business based in the UK who is seeking a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their accountancy team on a 9-month contract. The role is a standalone position within a wider team, requiring the individual to work from the office three times a week.
About the RoleAs the Part Qualified Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statements, being the main point of contact for audit queries, and supporting audit and board sign-off of financial statements. You will also provide accounting reminders as deadlines approach, support business transactions, and maintain tax compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present financial statements to stakeholders
- Manage audit queries and respond to auditor requests
- Support the preparation of board packs, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and analysis
- Ensure tax compliance and reporting requirements are met
- Provide accounting support to the business, including financial analysis and forecasting
To be considered for this role, you must have Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA status, experience in a financial management environment, and knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles. You should also have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and an understanding of controls in a financial reporting context.
