Salter Grange Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a high-profile MEP commercial project in London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with experience in managing large electrical packages on complex projects.

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for preparing reports, front-end studies, and technical documentation, as well as coordinating with clients, design teams, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and front-end studies, including capital cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Prepare technical and contract documentation for issues and analyze returned tenders.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities.
  • Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging.
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, design teams, and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
  • Coordinate with other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Identify materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems that may arise.
  • Ensure handover documentation is presented in a specific format and timeline.
  • Communicate project progress to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors.
  • Technical understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proactive people management.
