Project Worker Complex Needs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Project Worker Complex Needs to join our team in Camden. As a key member of our Complex Needs Services, you will provide tailored support to clients with multiple and complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, offending behaviour, and physical health issues.
In this role, you will work within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) and use a Biopsychosocial model to deliver high-quality, holistic support to help clients achieve stability and move forward in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personalised support to clients with multiple disadvantage, including poly-substance misuse, mental health concerns, and histories of trauma.
- Conducting needs and risk assessments, and working collaboratively to develop and implement support plans.
- Promoting harm minimisation and recovery, enabling clients to set and work towards their own goals.
- Supporting clients to develop life skills, manage relationships, build social networks, and access external services and community resources.
- Facilitating group activities and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme.
- Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, coordinating with other professionals to create integrated care plans.
We are looking for an experienced professional who has a strong understanding of the challenges that disrupt clients' journeys towards independence, such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and domestic violence.
You will have a proven ability to provide personalised assessments, support planning, and casework, as well as excellent crisis management skills and the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.
A strong understanding of the strengths and recovery model and experience of working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) is essential.
You will be able to motivate and engage clients through structured activities, group work, and positive interventions, and have strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Our Benefits- A competitive salary starting at £28,247.60 and rising incrementally to £30,342.85 per annum.
- A 37.5 hour working week, including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services.
