Role Overview:
Yourgene Health is looking for an experienced Packing Operative to join our team. This role is crucial for implementing new processes at our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise picking and packing of components into various finished test kits, requiring exceptional attention to detail as orders may vary significantly. Collaboration with the Logistics Team will be essential to ensure efficient order turnaround from picking and packing to shipment. We value continuous improvement and seek someone with experience in process evaluation and implementation, as well as the ability to think creatively and execute tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transition of existing processes to the new site.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct packing runs to ensure the required quantity of kits is packed according to pending orders and stock levels.
- Receive and log delivered materials.
- Ensure all goods and materials are stored in the appropriate temperature-controlled environment.
- Maintain stock records, conduct cycle counting, and perform stock taking.
- Prepare and complete dispatch documentation.
- Pack goods for dispatch and ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers.
- Clear packing lines and maintain a tidy warehouse environment.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Essential experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with 13485 Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, and accountability.
- Able to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
